When making travel arrangements, please plan to arrive between 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM on the first day of the program. If you have children, please plan to arrive before 2:00 PM for the purpose of settling in before the Children and Youth Program orientations. Plan to depart the final Friday afternoon once the retreat has concluded.
While it is convenient to have your own car at Alongside, it is not necessary. We have ministry cars that you may use for local trips for a nominal fee.
If you are flying, we can provide a shuttle to our facility from the Kalamazoo or Grand Rapids airports (Kalamazoo is closer and preferable). Please send us your flight information as soon as you are able, so arrangements can be made.
For departing flights, please do not book a flight earlier than 2:00 PM on the last day of the program.
