Susanne Johnston
Board Member and Business Manager
Susanne Johnston serves as Alongside’s Business Manager on a volunteer basis, working in our office many hours each week. She is also the Treasurer of our Board of Dierctors. Before retiring, Sue and her husband Jack owned and operated their 60-year-old family-owned business, Johnstons & Associates, a national award-winning Point-of-Purchase Display company which designed and manufactured displays and POP advertising for national brand name companies such as Kellogg, Whirlpool, and the J.M. Smucker Company. Sue was Vice President of Finance. By way of community service, for many years Sue served as a Director and the Treasurer of Interchange Youth Help Services in Allegan County, a mentoring service for at-risk youth. Additionally, Sue has been a member of the Yorkville Community Church for 30 years, where she has served in many capacities, including being an elder, a trustee, church moderator, and church treasurer. It’s a great blessing to have Sue Johnston on our board of directors and serving as our Business Manager!
