Esther Waddilove, M.S.W.
Esther Waddilove serves as part-time adjunct faculty for Alongside. Esther is an adult MK born and raised in West Africa until age 15. She completed high school and college in West Michigan and then moved to England where she completed her R.N. During that time through involvement with the Navigators, she met and married her husband, Gordon. They moved to America where Gordon attended seminary and then pastored in the Reformed Church in America for about 10 years. When their sons were old enough to be in school all day, Esther went back to grad school for a Master of Social Work degree. After graduation she worked for a number of years with Christian Counseling Centers in West Michigan and in Chicago before moving into a private practice setting where she has been for 10 years. Esther’s experience as an MK and as a pastor’s wife have given her a heart for those in ministry situations. Esther is a Licensed Master Social Worker.
